Day Trip to Swansea

Alvin and I went to Swansea early morning. We took bus to Swansea because it is not far from Cardiff, approximately 45 minutes. We slept in the bus until we arrived there.

Swansea bus station, not bad. It looks better than Kota Raya but smaller. There is a castle in the city. Alvin told me that Swansea is a small town because it was totally destroyed during World War II. A lot of old building had gone only few castle were left but all castle are not open to public. We took out lunch at a indoor market. I bought some souvenirs from there but too unlucky, one of the souvenir was broke once I accidentally dropped it after I withdraw cash from ATM.

He introduced me a very famous ice-cream in Swansea. YUMMY !!! This ice-cream is originally from here and it is very tasty, delicious and sweet. It is called "Joe's Ice-cream". It has only one favour, vanilla. But it can creatively to make into other favour by adding some own made ingredients. Surprised? Amazing?

We went to Mumbles in the evening. We walked along the sea side once the rain was stopped.Then we took bus back to Cardiff around 4.30pm because I had a Chirstmas Eve dinner with Jin Fui and Ivana.

So far, I have been to Oxford, Cambridge, Cardiff and Swansea in year 2007.
