First Day at ELS Language Centre

My IELTS preparation programme at ELS Language Center was started last Tuesday. I was late for the first lesson because it was rainning in the afternoon. I arrived there about 3.45pm, the class was started at 3.30pm to 6.00pm. There were seven students enrolled to this programme I was one of the students. They were from China, Libya, Malaysia, and Sudan. They were friendly and nice to talk.

This programme is conducted by Mr Ong. He is nice and friendly. He help me a lot in this programme. I love this offered programme by ELS. At least I knew what I should do and what I shouldn't do in IELTS examination.

There are four skills or sections will be tested in IELTS examination such as Listening, Reading , Writting and also Speaking. Frankly speaking, it is not a problem for me to get Band 6.0 in listening and speaking, but it is very difficult for me to get Band 6 or above in writting section because I have been stopped to write a diagram description and an essay for more than 3 years and I have forgotten the technique too. I took this programme so that I can do better than what I had done before.

The class was warmed up by self introducing followed by a question "Why do you take this programme?" and "What overall band score you aimed to get?". I answered:"I take this programme because I want to make improvement in my reading and writting sections. I hope I can get overall band score 6.0 because that is the minimum requirement required by University of birmingham". You should aim overall band score 7.0, said Mr Ong. Of course I hope I can get overall band score 7.0, but I do not have confidence to get the band score because I know where my standard is.

I found that this programme really help me a lot unless I am lazy.

A Surprising Day

Few weeks ago in the morning, while I was sleeping, one of my housemates knocked my door. I was awoke by the door knocking sound. Then I went to open the door. My housemate told me that there was something that I have to receive. I thought it was just a letter, formerly it was a parcel post.

After I have received the parcel post, I went back to my room. I felt very weird and asking myself "Who sent me the parcel post"? I tore off the envelope and I saw a white box inside. Again, i felt very curious and opened the box. Oh My God !!! There was a watch inside. Timex - the brand of the watch. Wow.. of course I felt very happy and excited at the moment because I received a watch early in the morning which it never happened to me before. The watch was in blue color. I like it because I love blue color and it was free. That's the point!

Firstly, I thought I won it from a Disneyland Roadshow that I visited at Mid Vally shopping mall few months ago. But, that's impossible. I didn't fill up any contest form that day. Since I didn't fill up any form, how come they got my house address? Then, my friend told me that I maybe won the movie contest game. Finally I understood what was happening. I hadparticipated in a movie contest called "Monster House" , I asked my friend sent it to the address that mentioned inside the newspaper - China Press Newspaper

I guessed I have got the console prize. Anyway, I was very surprise that I had won the contest game.

Rocky, Pass Away In Peace

Born in 1994
Died on 30 September 2006

Rocky, my beloved dog had passed away after fought with "Heart Disease" for 2 months. Although there was a cure for the disease but useless because it was in the critical situation, said by the farrier.

Do you believe that there is a sign given to you by the living creatures before they die? I believe it. Don't trust me, is it? But, I'm telling you the truth. Why I say so? You will know after you have read what I have written it here.

I've another two dogs. I guess they sensed Rocky is going to die, the dogs were barking. I felt weird. So, I went out to see what was happened. I looked at the gate but there was nobody and I turned back, I saw Rocky was lying on the floor. I knew it is going to leave us soon,I shouted at my dad so that it could saw my dad before its last breath.

It took the last breath, then it just left us and would never come back again. It left in peace. I tried not to cry in front of my family members. After my dad put Rocky into a plastic bag then I ran into my room and to cried. It had been lived with me for more than ten years, I was very sad. I know I have to face it, but I just wanted to take out my sadness. If I kept my sadness, I would be very swink.

I hope that it will be very happy in another world and don't be a dog in the next life. Farewell my beloved dog, Rocky. Don't worry about us.

Toothache

I went to fill a tooth this morning. Damn! I felt very tired because I have to open my mouth for more than 20 minutes. The dentist had injected me with paralysis, so I didn't feel the pain at all during the tooth filling process.

After the paralysis had past, I felt a bit pain and uncomfortable maybe because of she didn't fill my tooth properly. Too much I guess. Goshhh... I have to go back again to polish my tooth until my tooth was even to the other.

I didn't eat a lot that night because I felt the pain although 3 hours had past.

Help me! I'm a little pity guy.

A NIGHT AT THE HOSPITAL

I went to see the dentist this morning to exam my teeth. There were some problems with my teeth after the dentist had examed. I told to the dentist that some of my teeth were bleeding everytime when I was brushing my teeth. This problem has happended for a week. I'm worry about it.

In the evening about 6pm, my teeth started bleeding. Just a little bit, so i just ignored it and the bleeding had stopped. Around 8.30pm, my teeth started bleeding again, this was more serious than before. It was bleeding non-stop, I have tried to stop the bleeding by drinking cold water and sucking a cube of ice but it was failed. I told to my parents and my dad has suggested me to go to the hospital immediately.

I was arrived at the hospital at 9.15pm. I went to the emergency department and registed. I was waiting for an hour before was my turn to see the doctor. The doctor asked me few questions. Did you face this problem before? Is there any problems with your blood ? I answered "NO" for all the questions that he asked.

A nurse took my blood for blood test and gave me an injection to stop the bleeding. I'm very unsatisfied with the nurse. After the injection, i was told by the nurse to wait at least 2 hours for my blood test result. Oh My God, at least 2 hours waiting there and i haven't taken my dinner yet, can you imagine what is my feeling? Can you understand my feeling?

Finally, the blood test result was released. "You don't have any problem with your blood", " Everything is fine",said the doctor. He gave me a medicine slip and reminded me to take the medicine tomorrow.

I was at home around 1am that night. So terrible !!!!!
